I purpose of the newsletter was to support Pumpkin Organizations who
provide newsletters to their members in the spring. It is sometime
difficult to find interesting articles for members to read and to
educated. The newsletters focuses on growing, disease, humor, clubs,
etc. which are listed on the Internet. The newsletter will tease a
pumpkin grower who is not on the Internet. He/She will be amazed to find
out all the information that is available if they were connected.
I recommend all the people on this mailing list signon to your local
pumpkin Organization and get to know your fellow growers. I thought Gus
did provide a listing of GPC sites on his page. I just reviewed his page
and it does not list the sites any more. I might of missed the url.
Here is an old listing of 1996
http://www.athenet.net/~dang/gpc/1996_siteadds.html
If you know of the current 1997 GPC listing and addresses, please
submit them to me or Dan to update or I will make a new homepage. This
is valuable information and the new pumpkin growers need to know were to
go.
The same thing goes for WPC. The data is old and a revision is required
to support your local grower. Please provide the revisions to Dan or
myself for a new page.

Back to the Newsletter,,,If you have Microsoft Publisher, I will e-mail
you a copy. I downloaded MS Publisher off the web and I created this
page from their SW. I can only use it for 60 days and I think I have 9
left. If you have a T1-T3 line the url is
http://www.eu.microsoft.com/Publisher/trialreg.htm
You can use 28.8 but it might take you awhile to download. It is an
easy program to use.
For those of you who did receive a copy, was it acceptable? This is the
first time I ever did something like this.
For those of you who asked, I sent out another 12 copies yesterday. I
prefer the newsletter be distributed to your members of your
organizations.
If you would like to join our Pacific Northwest Group. We have an
homepage and will provide you the support which is required to grow a
large pumpkin. Remember, growing a large pumpkins is not an easy task
and it take some luck and allot of TLC. My local growing group is
located on
http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/rem.htm
Take a look and join.
