Man of Straw.


The bad  news is that the A & P Show is over but the good news is that
there is a veritable mountain of stable straw to be had for the taking.
As a result my entire vege patch is now covered in about a foot thick of
good old straw with the odd meadow muffin thrown in for good measure..
The pumpkins look resplendent in the new look and my back will improve
as I can now take Tony's cue and sit in the shade of the old Apple tree
and 'down a tinnie' instead of weedin' and a waterin'.

Tony H. - I am pleased to report absolutely no progress at all in Fred
and Wilma.
