Terry,
I can assure you the students did not steal the pumpkin. I would have
donated one of mine just for the notoriety but they didn't ask. There are a
lot of cranes on campus for construction. Next year if there is a repeat
performance maybe I'll donate a really large pumpkin for administration to
lower carefully on the student union.
