Aussie update

Hello fellow pumpkin nuts.

Here in South Australia things aren't going as planned.
My 1006 and my 990 are both mutated. None of the leaves
have formed properly. I don't know if it's a virus or what it is.
I guess I;ll just have to wait and see what happens.
I did spray them with Pyrethrum when they were small to kill
the white flies. Then I read the instuctions which said not to spray
young seedlings, Would that have done it?
The fungus infection seems to be under control but the white flies
are always around.
I think I have two options.
One would be to see if the plants will eventually come good.
Two. I can get another plant from a mate.
Now should I pull out my plants and start again with a plant of
unknown parentage?
I have other good seeds but it's too late now to plant them.
I supose if I put the new plant in the patch it will get the same problem.
I do have other small/normal pumpkins growing and they seem to be OK.
So maybe the white flies aren't spreading some virus.
Too many if's and but's in this game, I'm confused.
I will be on holidays soon, maybe they will sort out their own problems
by the time I get back...........I can only hope.
