Brewers Yeast is available in RSA.
I use it regularly and have had good results -
esp on fragile plants.

G'day All,
There was recently a discussion on the benefits of yeast. I was discussing
this with a retired neighbour who is into organics etc and he told me that
his Grandfather used to work in a Brewery and used a byproduct of the
brewery which contained yeast on the garden. He apparently had a very good
garden so the benefits of yeast in gardens must have been known for some
time.
I think the previous discussion revolved around baker's yeast, perhaps
someone may know what happens to the byproducts of breweries now (except
for the production of Vegemite).
