recorded the dates of various stages of my plants development.
On the average a male blossom will open on an AG 9 days before the first
female blossom.This will vary +/- 2 days on any one plant,ie.7-11 days.
My explanation is the plant (mother nature) is smart.The bees get accustomed
to tending the mail flowers for 9 days,then one day there is a female flower
and bingo it is pollinated right away.Pretty clever,I would say.
No reason why the plants won't do the same at your location.
