It's over!! Marv in Altoona won. (coming newspaper headline)

Okay guys. It just keeps getting simpler and simpler.

I am now constructing a dome in my garden similar to the Biosphere in Arizona
so that I can control all of the conditions "in the patch." I want to be
certain that I have it right. I am going to absolutely control the daytime
temperature so as to have an average air temperature of 82 degrees between the
hours of 10 AM and 6 PM. Thereafter the air temperature will drop (in a
controlled manner) to 62 degrees where it will remain until 10 AM the
following day. The water content of the soil, which by the way will be on
average 75 degrees 24 hours a day (in ground heating cables) will be at 75% of
maximum ability to retain water. This will be measured in a fashion yet to be
determined. The amount of light will be measured using light sensors and
either the garden will be shaded when necessary or the grow lights will come
on as has been discussed here earlier. I am going to throw in some misters in
honor of Chris Anderson and I have the Zehrs as consultants on the entire
project. I couldn't get Paula or Nathan and so I settled for third cousins of
theirs whose names and whereabouts I will not reveal as this has become
proprietary.

Also you must realize that since this is occurring in a biosphere-like
structure, no bugs, fungi, deer, groundhogs etc will be allowed in. Chris
Anderson should be informed that I will not have to deal with the wind as he
does. I am going to use the seeds noone says are much good just to prove my
point, 1006/1061 and 1061/1006. Because of Joe Mills, the cyber drop out, I
will be using a mixture of Zoo Doo and cow dung so as to bring my soil content
of organic matter up to 10%. My soil tests will be utilized to keep my N, K,
PO4 etc at the upper levels required for pumpkins using steady infusions of
warmed water with soluble fertilizer already added and at a slow steady
levels to avoid "blow outs. In fact, I have designed a system giving me daily
direct readouts from the patch as to the condition of my soil. Weekly leaf
samples will be submitted to the local farm lab as a backup on the soil
testing. I have a local urologist on call for stem stress, should this occur.
The pH of the soil will be maintained at a constant 6.9. All pruning will be
performed by a local hair stylist who has agreed to assist in the project and
who will be using sterilized equipment. For added patch protection I am about
to ask Pumpkinwitch to overlook the entire project. Look out Chris Anderson. I
have stolen all of your secrets along with everyone else's. This is serious.
Have I possibly overlooked anything?
