About lightning

From what I've been told about lightning everyone who swears that their
garden or farm grew after the storm is absolutely right. All these
observations over the years are correct, but the cause is not what you
think. The amount of nitrogen that actually gets to the ground in a
lightning storm is so insignificant that you probably couldn't even measure
it. The reason why plants seem to grow after a lightning storm is simply
because they just got a nice drench of water.....thats it.

If you want to prove this to yourself, take a sample of "thunderstorm
water" and have a water test done on it for nitrates.

I apologize if I spoiled anyones day......Rick
