Al
I did notice a error in the family tree. In Paul McCallum 748.5 the 724
was self pollinated, to produce the 900.8 sqash which Chris Lyons produced.
I can appreciate the confusion and imagine how much work is involved, keep
up the good work Al, I certainly appreciate it.
This maybe of interest to some of the people whom are interested in the
genetics. The 724 was the third generation of pumpkins being
self-pollinated, it produced 20 % sqash. This was my second experience that
this happened. In 1990 I took first at Port Elgin with a sqash and third
with a pumpkin which had the same parent. The parent also came from a seed
which was it's third generation of self-pollination.
I am sending this on the net in hopes everyone will recieve it. I have
been on the net for 1 year but only able to respond to individuals,
hopefully this gets through and I will have solved my problem.
