Mites

Hello All,
I eventually worked out I have mites causing the damage to my plants. I read
they are most trouble when the weather is hot and dry like it has been here
and they also attack the young leaves as I have found out. I have not been
wetting the leaves for fear of promoting a fungal growth but now know I
should have been wetting them to keep the mites away.
I also read that chemical treatments are not very effective and biological
control is possible.
Has anyone had problems with mites on pumpkins and what is the remedy?
