seed storage

In order for seeds to remain viable for several years at least they should
be stored in a cool dry place, in other words, a fridge. I have a small
fridge which sole purpose in life is to store AG seeds! Iput mine in
mason jars and use silica gel for a desiccant. I've had seeds in there for
five years and they are still viable. I highly recommend " The New Seed
Starters Handbook" by Nancy Bubel. It covers seed storage, seed starting,
everything seed related. Check it out at your library. So when you get
Chris' 977 in the mail You will know exactly how to take care of it until
planting time, and you will be able to grow a 1000 lb. pumpkin! P Glasier
