Seed Questions, manure question

Dear Giant Atlantic Pumpkin Horticulturists,
Does anyone have a few extra seeds they would be willing to part with to help
a newcomer get started? I am willing to pay for the packing and postage and
some for each seed also.

I would also like to know if anyone has had good results from any of the seed
companies? One site on the internet said that P&P or Dill's are the ONLY
place to get seeds if one would like to grow a big one, but others have had
unsprouted seeds from the same... How many seeds from different places will I
need to aquire to prevent disappointment?
My kids belong to a homeschool group that is planning to grow the AGP as a
science/educational/fun project and I was going to order 1/2 pound of seed in
bulk and then divide up the seeds and we would all have more than if we each
ordered individually. So far, both Stokes Seed Co. and P&P has a bulk AGP
price. How can one be assured that one is getting 700 lb. and over seed and
not 300 lb and under? Is there any visual difference? Are seeds that produce
the really big pumpkins bigger?

Has anyone grown an AGP over their septic system? We have an area over our
septic system that the plants seem to particularly like...

Is it ok if there are a few evergreen trees here and there in the pumpkin's
area?

Is horse manure the manure of choice or will sheep manure do ok?

Does anyone have any used pumpkin growing books that they would like to sell?
Like Don Langevin's "How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins, vol 1 & 2"

Thank You, robert and angela
