I guess some people will always have big a ego and think that they are better than others, especially because they did something sometime.  Everybody knows that Ray has done a lot for this hobby/sport.  But now everybody (on the list, at least) knows that Ray is rude, and self centered.  Its a thing called attitude.  Most every one on this group has a great one, is extra friendly and helpful to old and new alike.  Unfortunately Ray doesn't fit into this category.  Apparently he thinks that 'we' owe him something because of what HE has done in the past, because HE was one of the first, because HE didn't like the direction the sport was going so HE started his own organization, and because of something HE did.   Maybe Ray saw this as a business opportunity and he is upset because it didn't turn out that way, that the list hurts his business opportunities.  It seems like he gets mad at others when things don't got his way, like a spoiled child.  Sorry Ray, grow up, that is called!

 life.  I don't see anyone else acting that way, even the ones who have tried to make some money at this.  Certainly not any of the current Heavy Hitters, or those who write books or put out videos, or who run the list, or who put up web sites, or offer their seeds, or even the man who started it all, Howard Dill.  I will mention a few Chris Anderson, George Brooks, Don L. , Duncan McAlpine, The Hollands, The LaRues, Farmer Gus, Wayne Hackney, etc...  I could list 20 more people and still leave someone out.  For me personally, you, (Rocky) have done more to help me in my efforts than Ray ever has or will- why ? because you are a nice guy, because you have a good attitude, because you shared with me your ideas and thoughts, your wep page, etc... and expected nothing in return.  From my point of view you offered him the olive branch, (it certainly not the other way around) even though you didn't think you did or said anything wrong.  Then knocked the olive branch out your hands !

and stepped on it, told you off, spit in your face and walked away.  From what I have observed, Ray would never think that he did anything wrong let alone give an apology just to make peace even if didn't think he did anything wrong.  
In my book your hundred times the man that Ray is.

    Ray .......... I told you I was sorry you jerk... I guess that want good
enough. I tried to be nice,, I tried to be apologetic,.....But that isnt good
enough for you.. I dont give a hoot if they boot me off this list anymore.. I dont
have nayone... regardless if they are Ray Waterman, or whomever.....Just by my
participation in the sport, makes me important enough to not be treated like you
have in the past three emails.. You refer to me as a blow hard, you refer to me as
a non contributor, you refer to me as the guy who took the hobbie away from what
is was supposed to be(where the heck was that one coming from? To me, it was
ruined when prize money was introduced years ago,, which I am assuming you cantake
credit for that too.. that was where the problem starts my good friend... )Well, I
did apologize, I did tell you I was sorry, but thatmust not be good enough  for
the almight Ray Waterman.......  Enjoy your hobbie, because according to you, it
is "your" hobby, and no one elses.. Sheesh.. Just because you have beengrowing,
and you have been developing Atlantic Giants for years, does not make you the only
authority inthe hobby/sport. Yes, you have done a great service to this sport, and
to that I am thankful.. But dont tell me I do not belong.. Oh that is right... It
is Ray Waterman's world, and we are all just paying rent.. thats right.. I
forgot..

To the list, I apologize with all my heart.. I was goingto sedn this directly to
Ray, but I felt his email was aired to you, and I wanted to respond with my
feelings. After all, I did apologize... but I guess that wasnt good enough to the
KING OF GIANT PUMPKIN GROWERS.. Ray... you are not alone.. there are many ..
