Seeds to share
The 968 Sproule I planted this year fell victim to a deer attack and was
nearly lost. Since I had room to let it grow I didn't grub it out. It
finally recovered enough to set a female in August at about 6 feet out on
the main. Again because I had the room I pollinated it with a 915 LaRue. In
late September, after a very cool summer, we had a killing frost and the
fruit stopped at est. 434 lbs via OTT.
The genetics of the cross look attractive and it produced 468 good seeds.
