I have free seeds available from a 240 lb. self-pollenated
pumpkin I grew this year on a plant grown from a 771 Fortin
98 seed (this fruit won the Oswego weighoff last year). It
has great genetics, and the full 771 Fortin family tree is
available from Cucurbyte.

Atlantic Giant Pumpkin:
240 Inzero 99 (UOW)
(weighed on a digital bathroom scale)
Weighed heavy to chart.
I'm a first year grower- I'm sure this could've
been much bigger had I had more experience.
I grew 3 fruit on this plant totaling 525 lbs.
Beautifully shaped/symmetric fruit
(as was its 771 Fortin 98 parent).
Medium orange, uniform color.
Smooth skin, nice uniform thickness, no defects/splits.
Plant is extremely vigorous- fast growing and 25" leaves-
this fruit was 31 inches in circumference at 10 days!
Grown from a self-pollinated 771 Fortin 98 seed/plant.
I carefully protected all males and females, and
hand-pollinated this 5 lobed flower.
