Most desirable seeds for spring 2000??

Hi, everyone.

Al Eaton has suggested that we run a GiantPumpkins survey to determine
which seeds are the most desired for the 2000 growing year. His suggestion
is to ask for nominations and then list the top ten in a survey for
everyone to vote on.

So that's what we're doing.

Please nominate up to 5 different seeds that you really, really, really
want to grow in 2000. Famous seeds, infamous seeds, your favorite grower's
seeds, your seeds -- all are appropriate to be nominated.

For the growers in the southern hemisphere, we ask that you nominate seeds
that you really wanted to grow this season, as your GiantPumpkin weighoffs
will occur in 2000. Please nominate seeds you really wanted to plant,
whether or not you actually did.

Since this type of request is likely to generate several one-lined emails,
please address your response to the GiantPumpkins list or directly to Mike
Stephenson (beacon@teleport.com) or to me (paulie@home.msen.com). This is
not the kind of stuff that Duncan wants flooding the Mallorn list.

Our current
who-has-a-right-to-do-what-and-for-how-much-with-a-silver-bullet-seed
survey is scheduled to close on Friday. However, because we want to give
enough time for the nominations, we will close it on Saturday night,
instead. That gives you the better part of 3 days to consider your
nominations.

Please help us with this survey. Al thinks the results "would be a
revelation". Mike and I agree.

Thanks!
