Seeds missing in post

I have read with interest the sad tales of seeds which have gone missing in the
post, and I may have found an answer. This morning I received a packet of seeds
from Greg in California, and had a fight on my hands. My parrot, an African
Grey, loves pumpkin seeds which are in her normal food from the petshop and
must be able to smell them some distance. Picture the scene of me in dressing
gown clutching my morning tea in one hand and trying to catch a flying parrot
who had my seeds from Greg in the envelope in her beak. Luckily I won but have
now got an offended parrot swearing at me from her cage. So maybe there are a
lot of parrots in the mail services or am I just fortunate to have a bird of
good taste?
