Mike...I have also seen a corrolation in the number of lobes ....the first
one in most of my plants this year(on the main) have been 5-6-7
lobers...after that its 5 or 4.On the side vines all 4-5's.Normally,in order
to get one pollinated by july 10 I'd go with the first..,this year with the
warm spring I had manyto choose from(plus an earlier start) by july10.I
temper this by saying this is my second year and I'm only now learning my
climate as it relates to AG's.Next year=early start like this year....but
later pollination...I think my climate can afford to move the target
pollination dates back to July 15 and not suffer too much. I have to work
around the heat by July anyway..........G
