Did any of you see Life Magazine and the picture of the Switzerland Pumpkins?

Martin Jucker and his brother, Beat (above), plan to throw the largest Halloween party in Europe at the base of what Martin claims is the "biggest pumpkin exhibition in the world."  The brothers, who were raised on a fruit farm in Seegraeben, not far from Zurich, grew half a million pumpkins and other gourds this year and carefully stacked 10,000 of them into a pyramid 40 feet high.  There are 258 varieties, representing 15 countries, all of them grown on Swiss soil.  This is the Juckers' third, and by far most ambitious, pumpkin promotion.  What started out as a sales gimmick has turned into a tourist attraction.  The exhibition ends October 31, after the Halloween party - where there will, of course, be plenty of pumpkin pie
