I think the Auctions are good. I want to get good seeds, I like
to support the clubs, and I don't mind buying the seeds. I have been growing

want good seeds. I find the auction a good way to get some good seeds for my 3
plant patch. I do not have the time to track and make relationships with the
"Heavy Hitters", etc etc. Maybe sometime in the future, but not today. I have
bought seeds from P&P and I don't mind that either. The whole idea of
buying/selling seeds carries a stigma of committing murder on this list, and I
really don't understand why. If people are buying, then those people support
the practice, and it should be part of the list. People that don't support it,
should not participate, but it is my feeling that trying to control the list
is bad. The only thing that I think should be controlled is when people use
the list to bad mouth other people, that should be done in private.
Having a set of guidelines is very hard, users come and go, people
forget. I think everyone just has to be tolerant and delete what they don't
want. There is no way to make everyone happy. The only way to make everyone
happy is for everyone to be on there own list ALONE! Learn how to tolerate,
just like your plants. An AG never grows under perfect conditions, it has to
deal with cold in the beginning and the end, heat in the middle, drought,
pests, wind and hail. Everyone should try to be a little more
hardy.

hitters are gone for this reason or that reason.....if they really wanted to
be involved on this list they would be.....some are probably taking a break
and I believe others will sit in the background for what every length of
time suits them.........these auctions are just as important as any pumpkin
chat that goes on.....they promote the sport and are a very good tool in
helping some organizations raise money.......I hate to think that a new GPC
site like Brads will have a very difficult time raising money for a very
good cause......PLEASE remove me from this LIST as I believe its growing in
the wrong direction........your list and its your right.......but that
doesn't make it right........small hitter of into
hiding.....................wayne
