At last I have found a pumpkin the size of a soccer ball,
really soft with bright yellow skin. I think it is on one of your plants
Barb K. I am not sure who is the father but as there is only one Dolly plant
which is not looking too clever at the moment and three of yours then I
suspect it is a self pollinator. Anyhow it looks good and my heart did a
flutter when I found it as now I have a focus for the season.
North and South, a national glossy magazine are doing a
feature on our pumpkin festival and now have all the material. They will
send the proof soon. Exciting stuff pumpkinologically speaking.
