HI FELLOW LIST MEMBERS
This morning i received a letter from 3, year 1 students, who are studying
for a BSc HONS degree in Horticulture at Writtle Agricultural College Essex
England UK. Writtle Agricultural College is well respected and has produced
some fine Farmers and Horticulturists therefor i do hope that, as a community
of fellow enthusiasts of the earth, we may be able to help these 3 students
wish some information that they are looking for.
Here are the words as given in their letter.
Dear Sir
We are currently doing a seminar on economic crop development of Pumpkins for
our Horticultural Degree at Writtle Agricultural College. We would be very
grateful if you could send us some information regarding this subject.
Yours Sincerely
Michelle Finch
Katherine Robinson
John Fryer
I do not have a clue on the subject of what these students are asking and
this is where i hope the List Members may be able to help out. I will
obviously be sending a printout of this and all other Posts i receive with
help on the above subject to the 3 Students named. If any List Member has
dealings with growing Pumpkins as a crop or is associated with the industry
your input will be very much appreciated. I think that for their research
material the following would be advantageous.
e mail addresses of commercial Pumpkin Growers
Websites for commercial Pumpkin Growers
and web sites that relate to the Pumpkin Production industry in general.
I know that List Members have come up with websites for all sorts of items in
the past and i just hope that some of you may be able to help these 3
Students with their research.
THANKYOU IN ADVANCE
