Re: Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers

Wayne,

I have been in semi-hibernation in the pumpkin growing arena because I am
currently in my final year of law school and I ran for an elected office
this past fall (I was successful). My hectic life will now slow down until
the about the end of April. So I am back on the list until at least April

I never did ask you about the performance of the Mombert 759. Did it
produce good? Last fall, my first year, I grew a 266 pounder. It taped at
370 pounds, but when I picked it, there was a huge concave area on the
bottom. I made alot of mistakes, but I was relatively happy considering the
brutal weather.

Who do you use for soil testing? Getting ready to break 500 pounds in 2000.

John Pritchard
