LaRue 1016
On the AGGC site, the LaRue 1016 is listed as a self pollenated "96
LaRue 676. The information listed is actually wrong, according to the
family tree I got from Sherry and Jack last season in a packet I
recieved from them. The Ciliberto 697 is the male pollenator, making the
correct cross for the LaRue 1016 UOW as such:
LaRue 1016 UOW = "96 LaRue 676 X "94 Ciliberto 697
It is one of the seeds listed in the auction at http://www.pgpga.com ,
and has had some inquiries about it's parentage, hence the reason for
this posting. Oh by the way, this post is "no joke" ****Small pun****
The auction is nearly half way over, and the PGPGA wishes to thank all
who have participated so far, and encourage others to do the same in
attempts to get some of these "hard to find" seeds. Some growers say it
is all in the genetics.... others say it is mainly luck... I beleive it
is both...
