Back in Business
Dear all,
After 7 long (very long) months without internet, I'm back. For who does not
know me, I'm living in Belgium and participates to the weight in Duisburg
which is to be recognized as an official weight. Last summer, it was the
first time I participated to a weight, and believe me it is a wonderful
moment.
I received many seeds from different people. I plant the seeds, invest a
lot of time, ask many things to this wonderful mailing list, and here are
the results. But first of all I would like to thank everybody, and certainly
the people who sent me seeds (and trust me)
Do not expect too much from these results,I did not win (at all....)
I received some seeds from Kennedy (616 KENNEDY -98)
With the pumpkin I finished 44'th with a total weight of 146 KG. I will do
better next year.
Troy sent me squash seeds (684.5 TROY 98), hmmmm, Troy my best friend, I
tried , but the pumkin began to grow and to grow .. from and june till mid
july, then nothing, not a gram.Anyway I finished 6'th in the Squash category
with 68 KG (sorry gain).
Kunde(KUNDE -308) also sent me some seeds, but these pumpkins were not
bigger than the Kenndy's one. Thus i did'nt took them for the weight.
The winner had a beutiful pumkin of 315 KG. I was far from it, but I will do
better (more than my 146) next year. I hope to get a 200 KG.
I learned many things, and will do better.
