Dusty doing well in NZ
Dusty is doing well and has grown enormously over the last
few days. She has outgrown the first cardboard box sun screen and onto a
computer box. It will be time to build a tent soon.
Lots of water going on now. We are on the odds and evens
water restrictions so I can give a good soak every second day. Time to pile
in the liquid fertiliser now and stand by for blasting.
Cilla has developed a large white, gooey patch on the side
and so will go to the compost heap this afternoon. There are more pumpkins
coming on that all look really well. Seems to be a later season as the
weather has recently settled properly and we are into the mid to high
twenties with the temperature.
Sunday lunchtime now so it is off to make a salad sandwich
and check my eyelids for leaks on the back lawn.
