Correction
List,
For those that just received Pumpkin Watch in the mail there is an error
in the 1999 list of pumpkins grown in 1999. By error Brett Hester's hard work
was reported to be a squash. His 862.5 is a Squash his 850.5 was not. Both
are listed under Squash grown in 1999. If listed correctly, this would give
Brett 12th place in the pumpkin column for 99. Great job Brett! The 850.5 was
grown from the 801.5 Stelts, which to my knowledge has never thrown a squash.
I varied by phone this info with Tony Ciliberto tonight. Please make the
corrections on your lists. In the Ottawa St. Lawrence Growers news letter
please add Brett's 850.5 to 12th place in the vital statistics of 700+
pumpkins grown in 1999. The female for the 850.5 was the 801.5 Stelts and
the male Pol. was the 990 Bax.
