Re: stump rot


Hello. I once had the same problem but was able to save the stump. Make sure
that there is no shade around the stump so that the sun can beat right down
on it. Make sure it get's good air flow over the stump. Keep it as dry as
you can and on a regular basis put some captan on it. I also have gone as
far as to blow hot air on the stump from a portable kerosene heater. It
worked for me.
