look on the brite side at least you don't have moose or bears attacking
your pumpkins if i remember right you said you had cats to supply you
with "ammo " for the moles/voles and were going to try the gum trick to
help out with the ones the cats couldn't get as for the snails it sounds
like your soil doesnt get a chance to dry out on the soil surface do you
have a shade problem like tree limbs or buildings that slow air flow
down creating the damp spots snails like to hide beer in a shallow dish
will drown the snails when they come to get a drink but i think you
should (if possible) try to get rid of the places they hide during your
garden time maybe that will keep damage to a minimum let me know how
