The seed auction for the PGPGA is over half way through, and already
has already proven to be a great fundraiser. The auction will close on
Sunday evening in the newly formed PGPGA Chatroom -
( http://www.pgpga.com/chatroom.htm ) on our PGPGA website. It is also
listed directly above the seeds listed on the auction page, so stop by
around 830 PM EST Sunday, February 18th, for the closing of the 2001
festivities.
I am pleased to announce that we are going to do a raffle by popular
demand of those who feel some of the prices do get out of thier reach.
The raffle we are going to have will run for 2 weeks and end on March
4th. For a 10 dollar donation, you get one entry into a drawing for one
of five prizes. I have arranged with the individual growers to have
these seeds sent to me directly for this raffle, and they include the
following..
1. Bobier 723
2. Wentzell 914
3. One seed of each of the top 6 pumpkins from the Altoona (PGPGA weigh
off in 2000.
4. Checkon 815
5. Stelts 1140
The Stelts 1140 is in the original package which they were distributed
with.
If you are interested, please send 10 dollars for one entry, or 20
dollars for 3 entries to the following address... Entries must be
postmarked by March 3rd to be eligible. 5 winners, one of each seed or
group of seeds to each.
