My 2001

First of all I think I got the eyes are bigger than my patch syndrome as I
sent out request for seeds all over the world and I got returns from three
countries and many more seeds than I can plant. This is really not a
problem for me as I have two friends that both grow AG's and they were more
than happy to help me out with my over seed problem and I will try to post
how they are doing as well as my progress so those of you that gave me seeds
will know how your seeds are doing.

As for me after two months of research I have finally decided what my plant
combos will be. I have four plots here, one is roughly 735 sq. feet the
other is 200 sq feet and the other two are about 250 sq feet each. I know, I
know, I need a 1000 sq feet to plant well one thing I learned is that is not
really true. I know of Ag's that have gotten over 700lbs in less than 300 sq
feet. I am not naive however and I know I stand a better chance of growing
my best in the bigger plot. I will give all plots a great deal of attention
with extra care with the bigger plot. And now for my selections

Plot 1. 735 Sq Ft will be the Cramer 824 as the fruit plant or the Mama.
I chose this seed for a few different reasons most of all Shellie is the one
that got me to go to see my first weigh off and she has never even met me.
The Cramer 824 is a F= Greer 1006 M= Hunt 991 cross and was 5.9% heavy as
it was 341 ott and should have weighed 777.6 pounds the photo of the fruit
showed a very orange and good shaped fruit. The Papa or pollinator will be
the 865 L.Mettler. It is a F= 946.5 Geerts 96 and a M= 567.5 K. Mombert 92.
as for this seed it is the offspring of parents that combined to make over
20 700# plus pumpkins and over 2 1000#ers in 1998. She wasn't the prettiest
girl at the show but what a wonderful track record.

Plot 2. A 250 + sq ft plot will be the 2000 Rockwell 771.6 as the Mama or
fruit plant it is a Checkon 815 and the Lloyd 935 as the pollinator. I am
assuming that the Checkon is the mama as it is listed first in the cross. In
2000 the 815 was a parent to over (8) 700 pound plus and the 935 has 13
baby's over 700 pounds in 2000 Sense 1998 these two pumpkins have parented
over(40) 700 pound plus and (4) 1000 pound plus pumpkins now how that for a
Mama? Now who's your Daddy? well the 403 Hester 99 is that's who with a 990
Bax for a Mama and again the Lloyd 935 how can I go wrong

Plot 3. Another 250+ sq ft plot Here is where I get weird My Dad and Mom
who travel all over the country as Directors of Special events for the
Escapees RV club, knew I was going to grow AG's this year and my Dad got
online and for my birthday he found PandP seeds he bought me a few seeds
from the 1061x1006 stock. Now earlier this year I went to PandP seeds and I
bought a few Ag800 seed stock so that's my logic for plot 3

Plot 4 It's a secret!

Thanks to all of you Dennis
