Tonite is the end of the PGPGA Auction which will end with live bidding
(and also email bidding) from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM Eastern Standard
Time. It should be loaded with pumpkin people, and if you havent ever
been to one of these gatherings, it can be alot of fun. The address is
http://www.pgpga.com/chatroom.htm . It is best to open up 2 browsers to
do this live event effectively, one for the chatroom, and the other for
the actual auction page which I will update every 5 minutes throughout
the auction. All you have to do as an observer is hit refresh on the
Auction page, and it will show the updated bids.
I also want to announce the last of our fundraisers this offseason,
which will be our seed raffle. Raffle tickets are one for 10 dollars, or
3 for 20. We will draw five winners names, and I will let the first name
drawn choose between one of the five seeds/seed packages available. Here
are the five seeds/packages to be raffled off.
1. Bobier 723
2. Wentzell 914
3. Checkon 815
4. Stelts 1140
5. One seed from each of top 6 pumpkins @ PGPGA Altoona Weigh off.
(Ciliberto 983.6, Checkon 875.4, Dopp 788.6, Rockwell 771.6, Meisner
729.2, and the Werking 691.4).
I hope you will find this a nice list of seeds worthy of a raffle. If
interested, raffle moneys can be sent to the following address..
