I need help !!!!!

I need some help, Last Saturday at the Elk Grove California Pumpkin Growers
Seminar (thanks everyone who made it happen) I was fortunate enough to bid
and get two seeds from the 1140 Stelts. The problem was that the seeds were
announced well before bidding that they were not "prime" seeds and one has a
little mold. I am curious how can I kill the mold without doing any further
damage to the seed??
Please don't get me wrong I was totally sure of what I was getting I am
just looking for a way of saving the seed Can anyone help me !!!!!
I am planning on enlarging my garden to the rest of my yard approx 45 x 45
to allow one more plant so if one of the seeds pop I can use it as a male
pollinator for one of the largest crosses of all time. Female 1064.5 Needham
X 1140 Stelts
Now that's a big cross.
