Growing Guide
Hi Everyone,
Last year I did a short growing guide for some friends who were first time
growers. This year I expanded and polished it, and it is now available for
any new growers who might be interested. It is a two-page overview,
designed primarily to inform newbies of some of the unique needs of Atlantic
Giants. There are sections on pruning, burying vines, pollination, pests,
positioning fruit on the vine, and more… stuff that will help in the quest
for a big pumpkin that even experienced gardeners might not be aware of. It
has photos, diagrams, and sketches - all in color! A couple other
experienced growers checked it over and made suggestions, and those have
been incorporated.
I will be happy to send a copy to anyone who sends me a self-addressed,
stamped (preferably #10) envelope and $2, which is how much it costs me to
