On that same note, any time you need dirt, fertilizer, landscape rock,
mulch, etc, check with Home Depot, Lowe's or other local hardware chain.
They usually have great sales on broken bags. At our local Home Depot, they
sell broken bags for $5 per PALLET ! They usually just want to get rid of
the stuff. If you are looking to buy a lot of it, talk to the L&G manager
and you can usually get it even cheaper. I got about 1500# of top soil for
ten bucks once. At the end of the season, I got all the Cypress Mulch I
could carry for $5. (Needless to say, I loaded the truck and trailer to
capacity!) It sure helps save money for those other chemicals you need to
buy that cost $30/ounce.

Most Wal-Mart's carries it in 20 pound bags, Where are you from I live in
Sutter Caliph and work for a Chemical Fertilizer company and have 1000's of
pounds of damaged fertilizer. every year. never anything with it other than
it got wet and some of went to chunks and wont go through a spreader so it's
all tossed we usually give it to our Growers. Anyone in my area that would
like help with Fertilizer let me know
