I have heard about injecting Nematodes right into the Vine, I will have to
try that this year.

Howdy!
A method I have posted before that allows one to not have poison seeds and
fruit ;-).
I basically cover the main vine with a 95% sunlight in row cover....this
includes the leaves....let the secondaries come up from under...this also
helps against other bugs and wind. I also inject nematodes into the main
vines once a summer. I also spray Thiodan/Sevin on the rest of the
plant...which people spray on their vegie crops...so I am assuming they are
ok.
This has drastically cut down on them, plus I can roast and eat the seeds!!!
