Bob, how thick were the walls on the 1262? And where does this heavy poundage exist in the thick wall or the large circumference of the pumpkin?  I have not made it to a pumpkin weight off yet so I have not seen inside very many.

In a recent growers meeting of the SEPGA a grower's

pumpkin had very thick walls, it was Wallace Simmons of North Carolina.

 

His pumpkin weighed 850 lbs. If I remember correctly the

pumpkin wallls were 12 to 14 inches thick.
