JON EWING WROTE: Could you give me an itemized list of what you spent
those hundreds on? I spent about $150 which included a tiller rental for
about $69 and $50 for 3 cubic yards of mushroom soil. The other $30 was
for seeds, fertilizer, and pesticide.
Hi Jon!
My costs were similar to yours, plus I had to buy fencing material (and
still got hit by a whirlwind), soil test, a drip system with timer,
greenhouse stuff like lumber, plastic sheeting and peat pots, and
fungicide, plus $5 for the WPC newsletter and whatever I paid for the
Langevin books. I may have spent more than you for fertilizer and
pesticide, but I bought only two seeds ($10 with warranty from P&P) so
may have saved money thereby. I expect to save more this year, may also
spend more. Good luck to you!
Kathie
