You and me both having the groundhog problem. They basically ruined my
season last year. I captured four of them last year and transported them
about 10 miles up along the river. I had a nice pumpkin starting about July
15 and those..!#^%*&(*&^ ate it and the ends off all my vines.
I used a hav-a-hart cage and lead a line of fresh orchard apples cut in
quarters to the cage, then transported them. Start cagin them early. Don't
leave the cage set over night though, you might get critters you don't want
in there (pole cats etc.) phewwww!
Keep me in touch about those hogs.
