I'm afraid I didn't give enough details. Essentially all we do is get them going. Ours have been running closer to the 14 to 21 day bracket before being ready to go out, so we start them inside 3 weeks or so before the last frost.

Scott,
You won't be helping yourself by starting too early. If your plants
are left in pots for much more than two weeks they will become root bound and
will not thrive. My plants are typically ready to be set outside 7-10 after
planting indoors.
