GROWERS MEETING
Pumpkin Picture
Learn and share in the art of growing giant pumpkins as California's most
talented grower's converge on Elk Grove for a grower's meeting on Saturday,
March 1, 2003 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Robert Trigg Educational Center
(9510 Elk Grove Florin Road). Hosted by the Elk Grove Community Harvest
Festival, the day offers a chance for anyone interested in gardening to get to
know the secrets behind growing the really BIG ones. Activities will include
guest speakers and a growers forum, a catered lunch, and a seed swap and
raffle. Cost is $12 per person if received before February 14 or $16 per
