RE: Ben's Australian record pumpkin

And one nice and spirited think of Ben's adventures is that he is growing
his white monster in the middle of a very hot summer. This is a hope for the
people of warmer countries like Spain. If you select a good seed and you'll
work it right, you can get it.
Thanks Ben,
Carlos, Spain

> Cliff,
> Yes, I watch Ben's Grower Diary on Bigpumpkins.com several times every
day. I even chat with him via email regularly. It is really amazing how well
he is doing with his 845 Bobier 00 plant. And his pumpkin is only 58 days
old and is already estimated at 1019lbs!!! The current Australian record is
660lbs - almost the same as ours in Germany which is 658lbs - and Ben is
going to beat it by at least 400lbs!!! Wish I could do nearly as well as Ben
this year :-)
