Look At Ben in Australia. Start your amendments now and get your plants in
going May. June may be just too late! I am starting in April in my Cool
Climate but Ben is a good Example of HOT weather great seed and great grower
!! he is doing what we all though impossible he is growing a 1100 LB pumpkin
in a VERY HOT CLIMATE. Look what will happen if he goes heavy on that pumpkin
!!
We have something that we cannot measure that happens and we really
can't explain it! "The Pumpkin that will not be denied"!! Ben has a plant
that will not Wilt there are others that for some reason don't get disease,
or don't get burnt by frost (I have one of those right now) Would Steve
Daletas have had a 2000 lb pumpkin if he did not have the 1016 on with the
1230 no probably not but another plant that would not be denied !!
We can't all be a lucky as Ben and Steve but we have to plan for the good
times and the good luck instead of planning for the WORST!
Well, that is my two cents anyone else have any ideas ??? Thanks and GROW
EM BIG ...
