Hello
Michigan has moved it's state fair to the middle of Aug.,so by using the
count back method for rip fruit I would have to start planting the first week
in
March. Is this possible? I do not have a green house but plan on starting
seeds
inside then moving them outside with some frost protection.
Thank You

Michael I would not start them that early or they will be root locked. I
would start them the first of April and put them in by the 15th. Put down Black
plastic where you are going to plant the pumpkins a few weeks before you plant
them in the ground to heat the soil.
Good Luck. Still a foot of snow where I live in White Lake, Michigan.
Good Luck
Bill
