How about egg shells?  I also read crushed egg shells were good for the
garden, but we rinse them out with soapy water, before composting.

Forget it ... the levels that we are talking about are sufficiently low that

discussing them is academic for our purposes.  If these are reliable data 
which I doubt.  As I said before ... this looks like wiki research.

Fear neither coffee or tea.

And pumpkins love composted EVERYTHING - especially tea (compost tea that 
is).
