Last night's plane crash was in Clarence,NY, home to the World Pumpkin
Confederation and Ray Waterman, one of the giant pioneers of this hobby.
Hopefully, Ray will report to us today that he, his family and the many
pumpkin giant growers in the Clarence area were not in the home or
neighborhood
affected.
Ray, please extend our sympathies and prayers to anyone affected and to the
Clarence community.

Bob and all,
Clarence Center is just down the road from Clarence (approx 2-3 miles) where
we have the weigh-off. Buffalo is a big city but a small town and everyone
will know someone who knows someone. We feel sorrow for all the families and
co-workers who have loss. Even my daughter's co-workers take the commuter
from Newark. The manifest will tell a great deal when it is released.
This is the first loss for Buffalo Airport.
Ray Waterman
