Debbie,
I see you are in IL. I am in Indiana and start my seeds inside @ Mid
April-1st of May. Try starting them in a good sized pot so you have one
transplant to your outside soil. Keep your temps warm during germination. I
found an old waterbed heater. Make sure if you use one, that you keep a
layer of water over the heater. I fill a tray to 2 in. of water that is set
on the heater. Then put in a layer of gravel so your pumpkin pot is not
submersed in water. I keep mine at 75-80. Remember that wet soil causes
problems. Wet and cool soil is even worse. Hope this helps.

That would be great. All of mine failed last year. i think the starter

Hi Debbie,
They were giving out seeds about two months ago. I do have extra that I got
from David Bhaskaran. I have some already growing very well too so the seeds
are excellent and they are from very large pumpkins. If you send me address
i will send you some. The plants come up huge and strong.
