In discussions with Mr. LaRue, he informed me that Mr. Solomen(?) of this
region(San Fran), starts his growing season in early to mid May. This is due to
the warm weather in this area. I will assume Chris is out on business....
in Hawaii or Bali collecting pumpkin seeds.
I would start my seeds a week or two ahead of mid May indoors prior to
transplanting your plant outside. If you are planting your seed in the soil
outside, be sure to read the pumpkin links on this process.
Things to think about....If you are planting a Atlantic giant pumpkin, does
your mother know how large this plant can get? Do you have the room?
Be sure to read all the links about growing a pumpkin seed on the web.
Ask the questions and we will try to answer.
