Thank you for the posting of part of your brother John's journal.
It is very interesting and I forwarded it to friends who are also into
adventure travel.
Perhaps the Ethiopians don't raise their windows from custom but in the
former East Germany, we were presented with the same situation because
the bus driver didn't want to take any chances on the bus being damaged
by rattling windows or bad roads. An American woman and a Swedish woman
unscrewed the bolts with various things like coins. The bus driver was
not pleased..
Post the rest as they appear! Please!
