Re: Aussie Update

We had a good shower of rain on Saturday night about 20mm the best we have
had for months. The fruit have slowed down and I thought one had stopped but
they are still progressing. Both fruit are colouring up so I thought I may
have not kept them dark enough I initially used a 70% shade cloth with two
layers on top but have added a tarp to the top. The Bobier is dark orange
and the Zehr is a good bit lighter orange.
I also have been trimming off the new runners too near the top so I got in
and pruned them back harder on the weekend cut off a few kgs of vines, they
look a lot neater now.
I have been tracking progress which is amazingly similar - now around the
140 kg mark.
I don't believe the 200 kg story I have heard a few similar stories and they
usually turn out to be like the fish that got away.
